Another very slow month with only 32 fish caught. Its a bit mad though as carp are crashing around and fizzing everywhere. Noone can catch them though but I suppose that's what makes carp fishing the frustrating pursuit that we all love.

The year has been quite good considering we drained the lake down completely and removed all the silt

I would like to welcome our new fishery manager ALAN and his wife MANDY and daughter CHARLOTTE to HOOKED IN FRANCE. Alan is a very experienced angler with a wealth of knowledge and great patience. Whether you are a complete beginner or a total expert like me ( yeah right ! ) , he is always on hand to help.
